Keller Fire-Rescue is pleased to announce that its Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will soon be assisting on an international basis. The Department was contacted by a member of the Maldivian National Disaster Management Center with a request to place one of their Project Officers in its next CERT training class that begins in September 2010. Representing the country of Maldives at that training will be Ms. Raniya Ibrahim Zahir, who is the country’s focal point for Ministry of Health and Family, as well as the Maldivian Red Crescent.
