The Keller Public Library will hold several free computer classes throughout May. Classes are held in the Library's Computer Lab, and last about 45 minutes to an hour, plus time with the instructor afterwards. On Monday, May 14 at 10:30, come and learn Basic Microsoft Word 2007.
This class helps attendees understand the uses of a word processing application to create a variety of documents: letters, memos, newsletters, brochures, announcements, invitations, etc. Attendees will create a document, then edit, save, name, and learn how to print the document. In performing these activities, attendees will learn how to browse a large document, select text, copy, move, and delete text, to format text, change fonts, check spelling and grammar, to use the undo and redo features, and to use the help feature to find answers to everyday questions.
Each class is free, but space is limited. For information, contact the Library's Information Desk at (817)743-4840 or send an e-mail to library@cityofkeller.com.
