The Keller Police Department began the month of July in supporting the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office with its annual “No Refusal Weekend” initiative. This program was designed to assist police officers in obtaining search warrants for the blood of suspected DWI drivers who refuse to provide a breath or blood specimen after they are arrested. Since the program began, Keller Police have continued their efforts of detecting and arresting intoxicated drivers. Starting on July 1st, Keller Officers have arrested 29 people for DWI, and will continue to focus on intoxicated drivers throughout the remainder of the month.
The Keller Police Department would like to remind the public to consume alcoholic beverages responsibly and to always use a responsible designated driver.
