Calling all artists for the 2010 "Keller's Got Talent" October Public Art Show
Draw it, paint it, sculpt it!
Now is the time to enter your one-of-a-kind works of art. The "Keller's Got Talent" public art show is open to local amateur and professional artists, ages 18 and over. There is a $20 entry fee for two of your favorite pieces which will be displayed in the gallery of Keller Town Hall for the month of October. A "Meet the Artists" reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 14. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, September 24. Keller Farmers Market
Saturdays • Now through October
In front of Keller Town Hall
Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to noon, the front of Keller Town Hall around the fountain is transformed into a farmers market where local foods and artisanal bounty, grown, produced, and handmade by Texans is available to the local public. In addition, there are cooking demonstrations, activities for children, music, and visual displays of Texas art. The market is scheduled to run through October, weather permitting. August Public Art Show

Keller Town Hall
The Young Artists of Texas will be the featured talent for the August Public Arts Show at Keller Town Hall. YAT was established in 2005 as a non-profit organization by Jenny Tilbury. The mission of the organization is to provide students with an environment to pursue a career in the arts. They are given the opportunity to display their art at 12 off-site gallery showings a year and Keller Town Hall is the gallery for August. Keller Town Hall
The September Public Arts Show at Keller Town Hall will feature the works of Ann Hardy and the Professional Artists in North Texas, a group of 15 artists who enjoy sharing their art and paintings as a group throughout the year at venues in the DFW area. The show is free and open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
A special "Meet the Artists" reception coinciding with the first Keller Gallery Walk of the season will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, September 9 in the foyer of Keller Town Hall. Come and enjoy the work of this talented group of painters as they display for the first time in a gallery setting.

Keller Gallery Walk

Join us from 7 to 9 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month, from September through May (except December), as Keller Town Center comes alive with the Keller Gallery Walk. Keller art galleries will open their doors to feature artwork of all varieties and genres. Participants will enjoy free art exhibits, music, and refreshments.

"How the West was Run" 5K, 10K, and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk

Cost varies with distance
Come dressed in your running gear for the 5th annual "How the West was Run" 5K, 10K, and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. Both the 5 and 10K runs are USATF Certified. This event is open to all ages and is presented by The Keller Pointe and Keller Parks and Recreation. All proceeds will benefit The Keller Pointe Scholarship Fund.
