Willis Lane reconstruction begins June 29

Post Date:06/26/2017

With reconstruction work on Pearson Lane wrapped up ahead of schedule, Keller and Tarrant County road crews will now turn their attention to Willis Lane.

Construction begins Thursday, June 29 from about Willis Lane Elementary School south to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Part of our annual street maintenance program in partnership with the county, this section of road will be rebuilt in its current dimensions with re-stabilized subgrade and fresh asphalt; the project will not expand or otherwise change the layout of the road.

Construction hours will run from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Residents who live in the work zone will continue to have access to their homes throughout construction, with occasional driving delays to ensure safety and work continuity. Mail, garbage and other services will also continue to have access to homes, and the road will reopen to all traffic in the evenings and over the weekends.

Weather and site conditions permitting, work on Willis should wrap up by Aug. 1. For more information, please contact Public Works at 817-743-4080.
