National Drug Takeback Day set for Oct. 28

Post Date:10/24/2017

The Keller Police Department will be accepting unused or expired prescription or over-the-counter drugs for safe disposal this weekend as part of the DEA's National Drug Takeback Day.

This event is free and open to everyone! Just drop your medications with officers or Stay on Track volunteers in the parking lot of the Keller Police Department (330 Rufe Snow Drive) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. Please note that intravenous drugs, injectables and needles will not be accepted at this event.

Can't make it on Oct. 28? You're in luck! In addition to participation in the DEA's national events, the Keller Police Department offers 24/7 drop-off of expired and unused medications. You'll find the red-and-white CVS-sponsored drop box for these products in the 24-hour lobby of the Keller Police station on Rufe Snow Drive.
