Keller Summer Nights series offers a month of family-friendly fun in June
Get excited! June is fast approaching, which means area families are prepping for a month of opportunities to enjoy outdoor concerts and movies as the city's Parks & Recreation Department and Public Arts Board present Keller Summer Nights.
Celebrate the end of school and the start of summer with family, friends and neighbors while enjoying concerts on the front lawn of Keller Town Hall (1100 Bear Creek Pkwy.) and a selection of food and beverages from food truck vendors. Cap your evening by heading to the grass amphitheater behind Town Hall to enjoy a family-friendly movie on a giant blow-up screen under the stars.
Admission and parking at Keller Summer Nights are FREE and we invite you to bring blankets, lawn chairs and a picnic meal to get comfortable and enjoy the night (alcohol is allowed, but no glass please!). Leashed pets are also welcome. Concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. featuring some of the area's most popular local bands and movies will follow around 9 p.m. once the bands wrap up and darkness falls. Here's the 2018 lineup:
Concert: Michael Hix & The Holla
Movie: The Lion King
Concert: The Grooves
Movie: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Concert: Michael Lee and the Wartime Limousine
Concert: Counterfeit Radio
Movie: Peter Rabbit
