Road repairs to impact Golden Triangle March 11-14
Golden Triangle Boulevard just west of Hwy. 377 will see closures beginning Monday, March 11 as crews make repairs to asphalt along the Union Pacific right-of-way. Aimed at further smoothing the road on either side of the tracks to tie into repairs made by the railroad in the fall, work is expected to start with a full closure of the eastbound lanes between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Weather, railroad and site conditions permitting, crews will then shift to the westbound lanes for an estimated two days.
Public Works plans to reopen all lanes each night of the project to minimize impacts during rush hours. Daytime drivers, though, should anticipate delays around the Golden Triangle Blvd./Hwy. 377 intersection and plan alternate routes. For more information, contact Public Works at 817-743-4080.
