Fifth annual children's bike parade goes virtual
Grab the kiddos, their bikes and some patriotic decorations, and join the Keller Police Department for a VIRTUAL contest in honor of the Fourth of July. Our fifth annual bike parade is heading online this year to help keep Keller families and our first responders as safe as possible.
Participation in this event is free for kiddos 2-12 years old, and Keller PD will still be awarding prizes for the best bike decorations in three age categories: 2- through 5-year-olds, 6- through 8-year-olds, and 9- through 12-year-olds.
To enter this year’s contest, please email a photo of your entry to Community Relations Officer James Intia at firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of the day Saturday, July 4. Your entry email should include the child’s name and age, and the photo should feature them with their decorated bike. Feel free to send multiple photos if you have various angles of the décor to show off! July 4 attire or costumes may be worn by participants as well.
Winners will be announced — and entries shared on the Keller Public Safety Facebook page — by the end of the day Monday, July 6.
For more information, Officer Intia may also be reached at 817-743-4533.
