Eight streets to see repaving as part of Tarrant County partnership

Post Date:10/23/2025
Following City Council approval this week, construction is scheduled to begin in January on a new street maintenance package in partnership with Tarrant County.

Plans include full-depth reclamation for eight asphalt streets, with work expected to wrap up by August. Thanks to the partnership, Tarrant County crews will provide labor for the projects, while the city covers the cost of materials — estimated at just under $1.3 million.

This package includes:
• North Pearson Drive from Summer Lane to the northern city limits
• Willis Lane from North Tarrant Parkway to the southern city limits
• Roanoke Road from Knox Road to the northern city limits
• Cheyenne Trail from Cherokee Trail to Navajo Drive
• Judge Bland Road from Florence Road to the end of pavement
• Lucian Road from Marvin Street to the end of pavement
• Oak Hill Road from Keller Smithfield Road to the end of pavement
• Oak Trail from Roanoke Road to the end of pavement

Residents and property owners along the impacted roads will receive additional details about construction schedules and impacts as we get closer.
