Official Election Results 

Tarrant County Elections Administration has released the results for the May 2 election.

Mayor
Ross McMullin: 57.86% - 3,624 votes
Tag Green: 8.38% - 525 votes
Ed Prem: 33.75% - 2,114 votes

City Council Place 5
Ned Brown: 19.24% - 1,185 votes
Ashley Stone Hernandez: 21.88% - 1,348 votes
Chris Whatley: 58.88% - 3,627 votes 

City Council Place 6
Zane Kupper: 37.03% - 2,269 votes
Charles Randklev: 62.97% - 3,858 votes

City Council Place 4 (Unexpired Term)
Elda Rata: 19.22%, - 1,183 votes
Russ Medeiros: 41.69% - 2,566 votes
Jarrett ‘Doc’ Armstrong: 39.09% - 2,406 votes

The City Council held a Special Meeting on Tuesday, May 12, at 5:00 p.m. to canvass the official election results and order a runoff election for City Council Place 4 between Russ Mederiros and Jarrett Armstrong. The runoff election will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Individuals elected to the other positions (those receiving over 50%) will take their oath of office at the May 12th and 19th City Council Meetings.

General Election for Mayor, City Council Place 5, & Place 6

Filing for a place on the ballot will begin on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, and close at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, February 13, 2026. (Notice for Filing Period posted November 24, 2025) - FILING IS NOW CLOSED FOR THESE POSITIONS
