Whether you’re heading out of town to visit family a few towns over, to enjoy a change of scenery in another state or to tackle a business trip overseas, we know our residents leave their hearts in Keller while they’re away. Now, you can take a piece of home wherever you roam!
The #KellerProud traveling flag program invites Keller residents to represent our community wherever they go with the help of a City of Keller flag. Easily stowed away in your day bag or suitcase, our flags can be a special addition to any getaway you have planned outside the city limits.
Each flag is paired with a memory book where you can add photos and notes of your adventures. Add your piece of history for future travelers! Once you return home, be sure to share your stories of the flag’s travels by emailing us your favorite photos to be featured on the city’s social media accounts.
How to Participate:
1. Check out a City of Keller flag from the Keller Public Library. You can find it in our online catalog here. An active library card is required for checkouts. Flags have a 21 day loan period.
2. Take the flag along on your adventure
3. Include the flag in one or more of your getaway photos
4. Email your favorite flag-featured photos to library@cityofkeller.com
5. Sign the #KellerProud Traveling Flag memory book with some notes about your trip
6. Return the flag and memory book to the library
