Mark Hafner,
Chief of Police

Chief Hafner has more than 30 years of police experience. He holds both a bachelor's and master’s degree in Public Administration and also graduated from the FBI National Academy. He has served as the Chief of Police in Keller since 2001. Chief Hafner is the staff liaison to the Keller Crime Control & Prevention Board of Directors. He is currently the third Vice-President of the Texas Police Chiefs Association, is a Past-President of the North Texas Police Chiefs Association (2007-2008), and sits on the Board of Directors of the KISD Educational Foundation.
