Integrity Libby Gergely, Administrative Assistant "As I begin to contemplate retirement with the City of Keller, I reflect on 16 years of a fulfilling career in customer service to the residents, and administrative assistance to my co-workers. To receive the 2024 Award for Integrity is especially meaningful. As Robert Louis Stevenson wrote: “The man is a success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who leaves the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had.” |

Service Rick Hardcopf, Capital Projects Manager "It is an honor to be the recipient of the service award this year, I would like to thank those who nominated and voted for me. Working for the City of Keller has allowed me to grow as a person due to the varied the nature of the work and interaction with citizens. I am lucky to be part of a fantastic department with coworkers who are always ready to help. I look forward to the future opportunities and challenges.” |

Creativity Amanda Garcia, Library Clerk II "I was truly moved by the kind comments from those who nominated and voted for me to receive this year's creativity award. My experience at the Keller Library has been immensely rewarding. I'm fortunate to work alongside incredible coworkers who dedicate themselves to providing patrons with the best possible experience on a daily basis. I've witnessed my colleagues going above and beyond, whether it's assisting elderly patrons with electronic devices, helping individuals apply for jobs, supporting those facing challenges, or connecting families in need with local resources. These moments only scratch the surface of the creativity that surrounds me. I have the chance to market events, foster supportive communities, contribute to video projects, join committees, and represent the library at city-wide events. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to thrive in such a supportive environment." |
