All city utility customers are eligible for the bank draft plan.
What are the advantages?
- No monthly check to write.
- Save on postage costs.
- Fast and easy.
- Payment is drafted from your account on due date.
How does the plan work?
You will continue to receive your monthly City of Keller utility bill with the notation "Bank Draft - Do Not Pay" in the mail approximately 10-14 days before the bill is due and deducted from your checking or savings account. Your bank will then deduct this amount and electronically forward the payment to the City of Keller. You will have your utility bill and bank account statement, if needed, for future reference.
Is there a fee for this service?
The City of Keller charges no fee for the bank draft plan, and you may drop the plan with a 30-day written notice to the City of Keller. You will need to check with your bank to see if your bank charges a fee for this service.
How do you apply?
Print a copy and complete the information on the Draft Authorization Form (PDF). To find the "Transit/ABA" number, call your bank or financial institution. This number should have 9 digits, and is usually located in the lower left-hand corner of your check. Please attach a voided check from either your checking or savings account. Mail the completed form and a voided check to:
